How To Fix iMessage Activation Issues on iOS 7

Posted by Unknown Rabu, 02 Oktober 2013 0 komentar
Day in day out, people use Apple's iMessage service to get in touch and sending of messages. It becomes very easy to totally rely on this means of communication if all friends are iPhone users. consequently it can become very frustrating and alarming if one can't get messages sent through iMessage as its the case lately after iOS 7 upgrade.

This problem is due to Apple servers having a hard time activation the iMessage service on troubled devices. To fix this, the following workaround have been offered.

1. Go to Settings/Messages and then check if the phone number and Apple ID mail address displayed is actually the right one.

2. Sign out of the Apple ID and then sign in back or sign in with a totally different Apple ID if you have another one.

3. Now, once you are signed in, toggle iMessage OFF and then a few seconds and then toggle ON again.

4. If this still fails to solve the iMessage issue, go to Settings/General/Reset  and tap on "Reset Network Settings". This will reset all network settings including WiFi passwords etc. reboot and check if iMessage is fixed

5.  The final resort if all this fails is to reload the iOS firmware again. Backup device, remove any existing backups of any other Apple device that has been backed up on the computer or use a fresh computer. This is to avoid conflict when restoring backups as iTunes tends to mix up numbers of existing backups.

Reload iOS and then setup your iMessage. Make sure SIM card is present in the device when restoring from backup.

According to Apple, they are aware of the issue and working tirelessly to bring a fix in the near future.

Let us know if the above tips helped or what you did right and different that worked.

iOS 7.0.2 Download Links For iPod, iPad and iPhone

Posted by Unknown Jumat, 27 September 2013 0 komentar
iOS 7 is in the wild and of course just like other iOS before it, there is always a bug discovered which will inevitably bring about a swift upgrade.

Well, iOS 7.0 isn't as exception to this bug plague experienced by all x.0 firmwares. iOS 7.0.2 was released few days ago to address bugs. One bug in particular is that one that allows a potential intruder to access private information via the new Control Center. Following a few simple steps, a video demonstrated just how easily one could potentially access emails and photos of a supposedly locked device, and although disabling Control Center on the lock screen (or, as several readers pointed out, turning on switches from within Accessibility in Settings) has served as a short-term solution, iOS 7.0.2 should now see the problem completely eradicated.

Download iOS 7.0.2 in the links below and don't worry about the ability to jailbreak it if it doesn't become available in few weeks from now. It has been said that this update wouldn't affect the ability to jailbreak so feel free to update to it by downloading from the links below.

He Proposed To Her With a 24K Gold iPhone 5S

Posted by Unknown Selasa, 24 September 2013 0 komentar
They say money is good but huge money is better. Those with huge money sometimes use it to oppress those that less money.

One of the show of affluence and riches is the buying of this new limited edition 24K Gold iPhone 5S that was crafted by the guys at the world famous Gold & Co London who are well known for taking time to transform finest technology devices into extremely pricey products that will scare the low income earner far away.

These guys made three versions of the gold plated iPhone 5S which are 24 karat gold, Rose gold and Platinum versions.

Now imagine someone walks up to a lady and proposed to her with this 24k gold iPhone 5S instead of a ring,  would she say "no"? I doubt but i see the media saying he proposed to her with a 24k gold iPhone 5S. Linda Ikeji would be happy in this regard.

If you need this extremely perfected and expensive gold iPhone all you need to do is visit one of their outlets and make a pre-order but budget at least $6000.

Bragging rights doesn't come cheap and oppressing other iPhone 5S users with the usual aluminium material with a 24k gold iPhone 5S comes at a price. Of course the build will be extremely superior to the regular iPhone 5S.

More luxury items would be exposed at the World Luxury expo and you can make your way there to see even more exquisite designs.

Update on iOS 7, 6.1.3 /6.1.4 Untethered Jailbreak

Posted by Unknown 0 komentar
One of the confirming sign of a jailbroken Apple device is the presence of the Cydia icon sitting on the home screen quietly and responsively.

Once more, that Cydia icon have been spotted on an iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.4 and this quickly suggest that iPhone 5 jailbreak had been achieved but not released publicly. The reason for not being released publicly is not far fetched.

Winocm who is the main guy behind this jailbreak made a tweet saying that "The status of the jailbreak is pretty much: it needs work but its almost there. (For a very small subset of devices.)"

iH8sn0w shed more light in this area by saying that one of the current issues being faced by the team involve native apps on the device managing to delete themselves as well as problems surrounding the activation of iMessage and FaceTime. The informative post also tackles the age old question of why bother burning these exploits on a minor install base of iOS 6.1.4/6.1.3 when they could be used to provide liberation on a mass scale on iOS 7? The simple answer to that is that the exploits being used in this jailbreak will not work on iOS 7.

Furthermore, he confirms that Apple has now officially closed the ability for users to downgrade back to iOS 6.1.x from iOS 7. Although iOS 7 has been extremely popular with users, it’s more than likely that hardcore jailbreak lovers would have stayed on their iOS 6 installations to maintain that safety net. The good news is that it has been confirmed that everything that is required for the iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 untethered jailbreak on A5+ devices is in place. The problem, and current focal point, is fixing internal bugs that simply cannot be shipped with a public jailbreak.

Finally, iOS 7 jailbreak is a mile away and the evad3rs team are working hard on that. The good news as stated above is that those still on iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 will get an untethered jailbreak soon enough - just hang in there a little longer.

Apple's iMessage App For Android Surfaces On Play Store

Posted by Unknown 0 komentar
Apple's iMessage messaging service just got spotted on Google Play Store and its available for download for Android devices.

Like the name suggest, it allows you to send iMessages to not only Apple devices but also to other Android users that have the app installed.

This is actually surprising seeing that the app had been in the store since September 12th according to the information on Google Play Store. Not only that, there are reviews being written which suggests that the app is performing as intended.

Jay Freeman, creator of Cydia, a popular Hacker and Developer on the iOS platform has this to say

"as far as I can tell the way it works is that the client does directly connect to Apple, but the data is all processed on the developer's server in China. This not only means that Apple can't just block them by IP address, but also that they get to keep the "secret sauce" on their servers (and potentially just run Apple code: there are some parts of the process in Apple's client code that is highly obfuscated).

Every packet from Apple is forwarded to 222.77.191.206, which then sends back exactly what data to send to Apple (along with extra packets that I presume tell the client what's happening so it can update its UI). Likewise, if the client wants to send a message, it first talks to the third-party server, which returns what needs to be sent to Apple. The data is re-encrypted as part of this process, but its size is deterministically unaffected"

For now, some iPhone users are pissed and are wondering if there would be any law suit from Apple to the developer of the said app for using not only the name "iMessage" but the logo or to Google for permitting such app in the Play Store.

9 Million iPhone 5S/5C Sold Within 3 Days

Posted by Unknown Senin, 23 September 2013 0 komentar
When it comes to new Apple products, massive sales are always recorded during for first week of release of these new products so its usually expected that sales will go above the charts.. However with the launch of iPhone 5S/5C last week, sales didn't just go above charts, it entered a new chart of its own.

iPhone 4 when it was launched sold out 4 million within 3 days of launch, iPhone 5 sold out 5 million during the first 3 days of launch but the iPhone 5S/5C sold out a massive 9 million devices.

This figure is just outstanding compared to other iPhone releases.

Not only was the selling of iPhone 5s/5c outstanding but also was the download of iOS 7 into supported devices. According to Apple, more than 200 million iOS 7 downloads were recorded within the days iOS 7 was released publicly to the world.

In the words of Tim Cook, “This is our best iPhone launch yet―more than nine million new iPhones sold―a new record for first weekend sales,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “The demand for the new iPhones has been incredible, and while we’ve sold out of our initial supply of iPhone 5s, stores continue to receive new iPhone shipments regularly. We appreciate everyone’s patience and are working hard to build enough new iPhones for everyone.”

This means that no matter what people might think of Apple devices, the demands are always unexpectedly high.

The cause of Death: Rise of Smartphones

Posted by Unknown 0 komentar
Laptop computers just like Desktop computers are nearing their inevitable end. Some years back, Laptops gave a dashing blow to the Desktop computers that made them look inferior and weak after so many years of trust and love by consumers.

Even though, Laptops were replacing desktop computers in a way, desktop computers still had a place in homes and offices and will still do for some years to come. The victory was to laptops but not for long as new set of devices known as Smartphones are becoming more rampant thereby forcing laptops to take the position of desktop computers.

As already observed  by the consistent dwindling in the sales of popular laptop computers like HP, Dell, Acer etc,  soon enough Laptop computers would be pronounced dead and the cause of death is obviously the rise of Smartphones.

When this happens, most laptops will sit on the tables at home and would be used indoors.

Smartphones are the big boys in town. It can do a lot of things the laptop can do and in the near future it may be possible to do everything a laptop or desktop can do seeing how Apple created the first 64bit processing chip on the iPhone 5S and 5C.

Samsung in a statement have said that come next year, they would be the first to create a 128bit processor to run on mobile devices.

What these means is that these smartphones would be able to totally function like a PC or laptop. For example, the Ubuntu OS for smartphones can run like a desktop when connected to a screen and would display like a PC; that is a smartphone that is also a PC.

Now tell me, isn't the smartphone a bad guy? The likes of Apple and Samsung already giving smartphones 8 processors (making laptops very jealous), 3GB of RAM and expanding internal memory to 128GB. These companies will even make the smartphone powerful in coming years and of course by then, Laptops and Desktops would be long gone in history.

So after this era of smartphone kills the era of laptops and desktops computers, what will kill smartphone's era? Maybe the era of the likes of Google Glass.

iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 Untethered Jailbreak Might Be Released Next Week

Posted by Unknown Kamis, 19 September 2013 0 komentar
iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 Untethered Jailbreak Might Be Released next week if everything go as planned. This is the vibes we have been getting of late, especially with the recent tweet made by iH8sn0w on Twitter.

According to info reaching us, the exploits needed to fully jailbreak iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 untethered is available but not totally stable yet for public released but should be in matter of days.

Of course, iOS 7 released yesterday to the world and many would have upgraded to it. Although, the evad3rs team are certain that iOS 7 untethered jailbreak will happen soon enough in coming weeks, yet not so many people want to load the iOS 7 on their devices.

So if you are one of those people that wan to remain with iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4, an untethered jailbreak is closer to you than you might imagine.

Besides, Apple is still signing iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 firmware. It is a good time to quickly backup your SHSH blobs with iFaith locally before its too late.

Backing up your SHSH for iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 gives you the ability to downgrade your firmware in the future in case you got sick of iOS 7. This is mostly useful to iPhone 4 owners.

Stay close to this blog for more mobile info as they arrive.

Don't Update To iOS 7 Blindly: Consider This Before You Do

Posted by Unknown Rabu, 18 September 2013 0 komentar
In matter of hours (10am Cupertino time), Apple will publicly release iOS 7 into the wild for the whole Apple fans in the world to download.

Of course there are some folks that really want to get their hands on this new firmware and try out to see for themselves while some already know what it looks like and don't want to be a part of Ive's colour book.

What is most important is that, just like any other new Apple firmware, updating your device to it may leave behind unpleasant situations.

Therefore, Its important you consider the following before you update to iOS 7

1. Updating to iOS 7 will erase your device if you didn't back up you contacts and all other stuffs

2. Updating your device to iOS 7 will change your device's baseband. Consequently, if you rely on Gevey unlock especially iPhone 4 folks, you won't be able to unlock your phone's network. Therefore make sure you device is factory unlocked before you jailbreak or you have authorised SIM card.

3. For those with jailbroken devices and want to maintain that jailbreak state, updating your device to iOS 7 will wipe your device along with the jailbreak. You will lose your jailbreak.

4. Finally, there is no jailbreak for iOS 7 and we don't know how possible is it to downgrade once Apple releases iOS 7 today.

So, before you do your upgrade, make sure you have a factory unlocked iPhone that do not require Gevey to unlock and make sure that you do not depend on some apps gotten via Cydia.

iPhone 5C Unboxing Video Released

Posted by Unknown Selasa, 17 September 2013 0 komentar
While some other parts of the world have to wait till September 20th before they can start pre order iPhone 5S, China and Honk Kong can start making orders already.

According to an online store Sina, at the time of this writing, only the 16 GB ‘space grey’ SKU’s remain available for reservation. All other models have sold out and are “currently unavailable”

This immediately means that other parts of the world will have their ration extremely shortened and more people may have to wait for a new batch of iPhone 5S to be made and supplied in coming weeks.

However, high pre - order demand for the iPhone 5C by the Chinese people is considerably lower than that of the iPhone 5C and some have actually being delivered. Consequently, the unboxing video of iPhone 5C in this link.

As shown in the video, the iPhone 5C is a wonderful piece of device that would definitely earn a place in the heart of many.

Posted by Unknown Sabtu, 14 September 2013 0 komentar
iOS 7 jailbreak confirmed!
Good news fellas, its in the air, we can smell it, iOS 7 public jailbreak is more certain than it ever was.

One of the usual suspects in the evad3rs team, @pod2g has tweeted that he is becoming "more and more confident of an iOS public jailbreak". He's however stated that although he's confident of a public jailbreak it doesn't mean that it would be released right away.

Of course we can't wait to get our hands on the tool to jailbreak iOS 7, we however, have to exercise some patience for every thing to tested be  and perfected.

The evad3rs team which is made up of pod2g, musclenerd, planetbeing and pimskeks are quite dedicated to task of bringing iOS 7 jailbreak to all supported devices just like they did iOS 6, therefore perhaps, an evasion jailbreak tool for iOS 7 maybe imminent. Let's sit tight, relax and wait for it. It will come soon enough.

Apple iPhone 5S and 5C Hands On Review

Posted by Unknown Selasa, 10 September 2013 0 komentar
    iPhone 5C

A number of news sites have been able to go hands-on with Apple's newly announced iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, both of which introduce a number of new features. While the iPhone 5c’s major selling point is its bright and colorful polycarbonate shell, the iPhone 5s boasts processor improvements and a new Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

    iPhone 5s
In a hands-on post of the iPhone 5s, The Verge notes that the gold color “looks better in person” compared to leaked images, and notes that the "Space Gray" and white colors are very similar to the iPhone 5. The major difference between the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5 is the ring around the home button and the slightly larger flash.

    iPhone 5S

Starting with that home button, it's now made of sapphire so that it can act as a reliable fingerprint reader. It's not nearly as concave as previous models — in fact, it's almost flat. Luckily, it still maintains a nice, tactile feel when you click on it and we don't foresee anybody running into any issues. We watched the fingerprint sensor unlock the phone quickly and easily (though we didn't get to try it ourselves).
Everything felt fast and fluid — although the animations in iOS 7 are still a little slow to our tastes — but scrolling in the new Safari was better than before, if only by a tiny amount.
    handson5s

TechCrunch also went hands-on with the iPhone 5s, and was able to experiment with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, which supports up to five different fingerprints.
Essentially you spend some time letting the sensors in the Home button get used to your fingerprint, moving your finger around slightly, lifting it up just above the surface and putting it back down, with a graphic filling out how near the software is to being able to recognize your fingerprint (you can use thumb or index finger, depending on your preference).
The process took about 30 seconds to a minute overall, and then once it had successfully identified by fingerprint, it worked flawlessly to unlock the device for every subsequent trial. It also readily rejected Greg Kumparak’s attempts, proving that it isn’t just accepting all comers.

    iPhone 5c
According to TechCrunch, the iPhone 5c has a “lightness” in the hand thanks to the single-piece case design and “looks fantastic” in its array of bright colors.

All of that is made more impressive by the fact that the iPhone performs terrifically, and looks fantastic. The colors really pop, and the case fits solidly in the hand and thanks to a slightly rubberized feel it should be easier to hold onto than any previous iPhone as well. The color-match wallpapers add to the charm of the overall package, and that’s likely to appeal to customers who just want a device that looks great out of the box and doesn’t require any laborious customization.
    iphone5c

Engadget thought that the iPhone 5c had a very "solid" polycarbonate build that will hold up to scuffs and drops.
There is absolutely nothing about this setup that makes us believe it's not capable of handling a full share of wear and tear, and the reinforced steel frame convinces us that it's even going to survive falls without a problem.
Speaking of which, the 5c has a glossy finish, but we were quite happy to find that it's not the fingerprint magnet that we've come to expect on other devices. It sufficiently handled the greasy fingerprints of a couple hundred journalists, so we doubt there will be any reason to be concerned about this phone looking dirty. In fact, it has a subtle shine to it that serves to complement the color selection.
The Verge was also impressed with the feel of the plastic iPhone 5c, though noted that it did not compare to the high-end feel of the iPhone 5s.
The 5c is almost like a toy, a rugged, comfortable device that doesn’t feel much heavier than the iPhone 5 despite being noticeably larger. According to Apple, the device has a larger battery than the iPhone 5, which along with its plastic shell goes a way to explaining its bulk.
This is how you make a plastic phone, though: from the cohesive shell to the smooth and glossy back (which did pick up a fair number of fingerprints) the device feels far better than Samsung’s or LG’s plastic options. Even the rubbery cases look nice, their open-circle backs fitting in nicely with the color palette.
Both the iPhone 5c and the iPhone 5s will be available for customers on September 20. Apple will begin accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 5c on September 13, but does not plan to take pre-orders for the iPhone 5s. The 16GB iPhone 5c will be priced at $99 while the 16GB iPhone 5s will be priced at $199, both with a 2-year contract.

iPhone 5 Running iOS 6.1.4 Has Been Jailbroken

Posted by Unknown Sabtu, 07 September 2013 0 komentar
Few weeks left before Apple releases the latest iteration of the iPhone top the world, that is, iPhone 5S and 5C and something interesting just popped up.

@Winocm, the hacker and coder who tweeted few days back that he had gotten a way to jailbreak both the iPhone 4 and 4S running iOS 6.1.3 just released another pic of an iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.4 with Cydia launched and running as seen in the image below. This jailbreak is for both GSM and CDMA iPhone 5

What does this means? This means that someone had succeeded in jailbreaking the iPhone 4, 4S and 5. iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.4 is jailbroken. Although we don't know if this jailbreak is tethered or untethered yet.

Of course, many a people who upgraded their devices to iOS 6.1.3 may have given up hope but it seems that hope may be re-kindle again with this.

One problem though even as excited as many may seem is that iOS 7 is almost here and many would want to upgrade to it relatively making this new jailbreak if it goes public less relevant.

However, achieving this feat is outstanding and am sure accolades are already pouring out to him.

Lets hope, the process is made public so that those that still have an onerous attitude towards iOS 7 can remain with iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 and jailbroken.
