A new year is coming and with it the list of resolutions... "O Mundo de Mikey" is also sharing with you a list that you should (or can follow) to improve your life in 2014. If you are interested click on "Read more".

Health and Well-being
  • Drink plenty of water each day.
  • Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
  • Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants, and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
  • Make time for your own reflections
  • Play more games.
  • Read more
  • Sit in silence for some minutes each day.
  • Sleep enough hours each day.
  • Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day

Personality and Self
  • Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
  • Do not compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
  • Do not have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
  • Do not over do; keep your limits.
  • Do not take yourself so seriously; no one else does.
  • Do not waste your precious energy on gossip.
  • Dream more while you are awake.
  • Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
  • Forget issues of the past. Do not remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past, that will ruin your present happiness.
  • Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. You do not need to like, but do not hate others.
  • Make peace with your past so it will not spoil your present and future.
  • No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
  • Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
  • Smile and laugh more.
  • You do not have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Others:
  • Call your family often.
  • Give something good to others.
  • Learn to forgive others.
  • Spend time with the elderly and with children.
  • Try to make people smile each day.
  • What other people think of you is none of your business.
  • Your job will not take care of you when you are sick. Your family and friends will. Stay in touch.
  • Respect others.

Life:
  • Do the right things. Do not be a bad person.
  • Get rid of anything that is not useful, beautiful or joyful
  • However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
  • No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
  • The best is yet to come.
  • When you awake alive in the morning, do not take it for granted – embrace life.
  • Your inner most is happy. So, enjoy life and enjoy yourself!
